hey!!! march holidae is finally here. yes it's here. just to say that it's a time to relax and study at the same time as term exam is after the holiday. sigh. i just gotta say that my chinese A level was a C grade. i didnt expect it well not really i knew my standard was somewhere between B or C but i was hoping for B. sadly, i didnt turn out the way i wanted but i should be glas that i didnt get a D, E or S or even worse U grade right... my oral examiners were so sucky... none in my class got a distinction for oral only 2 merits and the rest were passed grade. i meant that i consider to be okay and those people who supposedly better than me and worse than me got the same passed grade... there was something wrong. the class that was doing after my class also encounter the same problem with the oral grading... could we actually, i dont think so right... i know that my school chinese standard is so not great but the examiners couldnt just look down on us and gave us such low grades, that was called streotyping. so, there is 10 weeks to study for chineseretake exam, i dont think i am able to improve to an A grade with my current situation. futhermore, there is a slight chance that i may even get a worse grade and it will be reflected in the A level certificate for 2007. at least my current C grade will be on separate piece of certificate hence i dont have to relly worry about the C. yap, i had given my yellow dropping form since i believe in concentrating on other subject instead of chinese... especially after today's alevel result presentation. come on, many subjects have the percentage distinction lower than national average... thus, i must get excellent grade in the school in order to get A in alevel LOL
next, simin, angeline and i joined this cip and a community center- taking care of children and having to do kids read... sigh!!! but wad to do, my cca is not really great bcos i am a slacker- dont like to stay back in school until 6 plus. therefore, i need to do cip in order to compensate for cca. we are planning to go there( pandan valley) twice a week including saturday. so every saturday i think we'll be doing kidsread which is telling stories and planning activities. yieeeekkzzz... today session with the few children was already tiring but at least quite okay they were not that horrible but just very active. i prefer doing peer tutoring as that doesnt require me running around and doing kid's games. i hope that the future sessions will be great and meaningful... well, simin and i will be coming to that place at 9 tmr.. soooooo i want to rest well tonite because i have been waking up late each day for this week that i have to change bus from 970 to 198 instead of taking the erly direct 14 bus.
let me talk about my classmates... i just cant understand some of them at all!!! they are rather annoying at times, some guys can be considered bloody annoying at all time. yesterday, qingwen, thar er, andre and me (because qingwen dragged me and felt abit sad for her going alone with the other 2) went to buy presents for the 4 march bdae babies. basically, our class didnt mutually agree on buying gifts for each person in the class on his/her bdae using classfund which we all pay lah. who started it, i am not too sure... although no agreement but most people pay for grace and my gifts in jan... so we thought it would be fine too. logicaly u will receive one gift from the class, so it is a fair deal. we had a budget of $20 for each present, acceptable right??? so today we gave the gifts and some classmate actually grumbling and said that andre - classrep- never told the class. so here comes the argument. come on, after calculation each of us only need to pay 3 bucks for 4 gifts, isnt that reasonable? s*** hei tung start saying that last year classfund was all used up for buying gifts... hello! the girls bought gifts for other gal using our own money, i even forked out more money as some girls just so call forgot to pay and i didnt feel nice asking them repeatedly. classfund only use to buy notes and gifts for teachers. omg, i couldnt believe such shallow and narrow minded person. then nicholas was beliving hei tung words that had no evidence... somemore adit added oil to the fire, they all started a rather heated argument and blaming andre for this... sweat drops!!!why cant people be nice to others with small present and very minute contribution to cost? i dont know how we will get back our (the 4 of us) money... maybe i should charge the gals more for abhi and shijing's presents and just let the guys settle their own argument. none of the girls in my class has problem with buying gifts for other friends but since the guys makes a small money a big deal gals should mind our matter and guys mind their own matter. woo, i think that is like gender separation... that's bad but what to do with disagreement and buying gifts w/o class consent.i dont want to get involve in these troubles of buying presents for my classmates anymore--- for three times i went to buy gifts, i lost much of my time, money and effort three times also. the demerits have shown that it outweigh the merits. I will not want to be involved with these ever again...

today is acs founder's day and we celebrated it this morning. i feel bad about certain thing that i did in should this morning. regret on doing so because of the consequeces of my action rather than desperately wanting to do it... i hope teachers wont come after me tmr =( sigh!
after the founder's day ceremony, my classmate and i went to eat at holland V then went for dessert at gelare because we wanted to use the gelare vouchers (received when our class won AC game) ate the tropical smthing lah, basically 3 scoops of icecream banana peach and strawberry... it was quite yummy but i still prefer haagen dazs =)
tomorrow, the result for chinese a level is coming out. so i would truly hope that i get good mark... i cant repeat my chinese anymore due to the current chinese level. i did try my best and gave it all i have so i just hope that the result is great too. oh yeah, tmr i will also be going for this EDB talk for those students interested in going to UK. i quite certain that i wont be going for things that is not really useful for example the career workshop that i paid 50 dollars and talked mostly on scholarship that is so not hat i can achieve, especially as i am a foreigner here. i need to reach there by 2.30 and alevel result is release at that time too... soooo am i suppose to ask for an early release if result... hmm should ask right. well... to all of u receiving result tmr, wish u guys all the best, because "the best is yet to be"
